Private Establishment for Higher Technical Education acknowledged by the Lebanese State.

Francel Institute of Beirut was founded in 1977 (20 years ago) by the Presidential decree No 688 of 7/12/1977 and several other decrees.

The agreement signed by the Institute with Foreign Schools allow Francel graduates to become holders of a French or American Diploma, besides their Lebanese one.

The Francel Institute for higher Technical Education, offers its students a choice of specializations in the 2 following branches:

Touristic Branch

  1. Francel Institute is affiliated, since 1996, to the EHP (Ecole Hôtelière de Paris). Francel graduates may exclusively continue one additional and facultative year in France to become holders of a French diploma in Hotel Management.
  2. Francel Institute is affiliated, since 1996, to the EI (Educational Institute) of the "American Hotel & Motel Association-USA", Francel students may fellow in Lebanon this American program to become a graduate from this American Institute.
  3. Francel Institute is affiliated to the IHA (International Hotel Association).
  4. Francel Institute of Beirut is an authorized training center in Lebanon, since 1995, by the IATA-UFTAA of Geneva "International Air Transport Association" for passengers. Francel students prepare the Suiss diploma in Beirut.
  5. Francel Institute of Beirut is an authorized training center in Lebanon, since 1995, by the IATA-FIATA of Geneva "International Air Transport Association" for goods. Francel students prepare the Suiss diploma in Beirut.

Administrative Branch

  1. Francel Institute is an affiliated, since 1995, to the ESGI (Ecole Supérieure de Génie Informatique - Paris). Francel TS graduates may exclusively continue one additional and facultative year in France to become holders of a University french Diploma in "Computer Software Engineering".
  1. Following the cooperation agreements signed with Touristic, Commercial and Medical institutions, Francel Institute ensures obligatory training sessions to its students, during the summer time. Such sessions will take place in Hotels, Restaurants, Travel agencies and Air & Sea freight agencies.
  2. The admission to the Institute requires a success in the "Entrance Exam" which will be stated later on.
  3. The courses are given before noon or in the afternoon in French or English.
